About Us
The Mimram Gender Based Abuse Support Service is here for anyone living in Hertfordshire and experiencing gender-based abuse. Mimram is led by Refuge and brings together a partnership of experienced specialist organisations to support people experiencing abuse. Our partners are Safer Places, St Albans and Hertsmere Women’s Refuge (SAHWR) and Asian Women’s Resource Centre (AWRC).
The Refuge Independent Gender Violence Advocates (IGVAs) will be the first people you speak to, but you may then be referred onto one of our partners for long-term support depending on where you live, or what specialist support you need.
